I am going to Scotland in September, really looking forward to it. Setting off on the 20th and travelling up to Durness (as far as you can go)!

Am stopping off on the first evening at Motherwell (my auntie used to live there when I was a child, so thought I would go and re-visit as not been there for a long, long time!) Then off to a village near Aberdeen where I am staying with a friend for 2 nights, she is into photography as well so hopefully she will show me some of the sights round that lovely area.

Then up to Durness where I will stay for a week, I am really hoping to see the aurora and visiting the amazing beaches there are on that coast. After a week in Durness I will then travel down to Glencoe where I will stay for another 2 nights before travelling back home. Hopefully the weather will be kind to me but whatever... I will be out there, rain or shine!
